Bhaktajanancha Dhar sakha Pandurang

The friend of devotees [such is the lord] Pandurang (a manifestation of Vishnu]

Khyati tyachi karoon gaoon ek abhang
|
[Let us] spread His fame by singing [this] abhang (a form of Bhajan popular in Maharashtra)
|
|
Shabd tyani dilee chand tyahoon upajle
|
[It is to Him that I owe] this [ability] to compose poems and lyrics
|
|
Heen majhen gyan kahi na kale
|
[Otherwise] my wisdom is inferior [and] my knowledge inadequate
|
|
Lavee chandana naval tarang
|
[It is He who] composes these poems for me [with] everfresh lilts
|
|
Pandurang kaanti jhalake, sthir hoi mana
|
[When] the magnificence of Pandurang is felt, [our] hearts and minds gain [inner] peace
|
|
Ratrondivas kara naamsmaran
|
[Keep] chanting Pandurang's name
|
|
Aadhi vyadhi hoi bhang
|
[That] our misery and travails be over,
|
|
Kripavant hoi aatan heech vinavanin Shower
|
Your blessings constantly upon us, such is our prayer
|
|
Shri Pandurang to shiromani
|
Lord Pandurang is [among all ] the greatest
|
|
Aasha mana rangi, bhakticha rang
|
[It is] my wish that [this whole world] be colored with the hues of devotion
|
